Step Out New York City

Thank you for a successful summer of strolls! Please check this page in the spring for 2009 schedules and locations.
This summer, take part in Step Out, New York City, a major walking fitness program for individuals and whole families.
Participants meet at locations around the city to take part in organized 1 ½ to 2 mile walks. They receive a pedometer to track their mileage and a t-shirt to highlight their commitment to fitness.
Step Out, New York City encourages walkers of all ages to get up, get out, and experience the city while using one of the most effective, low-impact, and low-cost methods of achieving and maintaining fitness.
